Kaspa Breaking Point? Whale Wallet Sparks Panic

Hey, welcome to Kaspa Daily Pulse – here’s what the Kaspa community’s been buzzing about today.
The biggest conversation by far was the mystery around “Wallet Number One,” or what some people were calling “Entity X.” The chat was obsessed with one question: who keeps stacking KAS, and is that actually good for the project? On one side, people argued that this buyer has been a major support for price, with one message pointing out that since late 2023 the network has emitted about 5 billion KAS, while this entity has picked up roughly 1.4 billion. Some even said they want that wallet to keep buying until it holds 10 percent of supply, because that would force the holder to become fully committed to Kaspa’s success.
But the other side was way more nervous. The concern is obvious: one anonymous wallet holding a huge chunk of supply is a red flag. People said that kind of concentration creates overhang, scares off new investors, and becomes even riskier if the holder is underwater and could eventually turn into a forced seller.
That leads straight into the second big theme: deep price frustration. The mood today was pretty rough. A lot of people were openly bearish, throwing around lines like “Kaspa is dead,” “we are doomed,” and talking about the market treating KAS like it belongs in the 2-cent range. One person even said soon 2.2 cents might feel normal and staying above 1 cent would feel like a gift. There were still a few buyers stepping in, with some saying this is accumulation time and bragging about adding to their bags, but overall the emotional tone was clearly heavy.
Third, there was a real argument over OTC buying and whether it actually helps price. Some people pushed back hard on the idea that someone could buy 5 percent of supply over the counter without affecting the market. Their point was simple: OTC supply does not grow on trees. Even if coins are sourced off-exchange, it still changes supply dynamics somewhere in the system. Others argued that what matters most is just the wallet balance going up, not exactly where the coins were bought. So the community still looks divided on how to interpret that wallet activity.
And finally, there was frustration about Kaspa’s market position versus other coins. People were asking why something like ZEC can pump while KAS feels stuck, and a few blamed hype, tier-one exposure, and speculative capital rather than fundamentals. In other words, better tech is not automatically winning attention right now.
That’s it for today’s pulse. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Catch you then.
