Chainblock SeqCommit Transactions
Sequential block commitment transactions over time
What is this?
This chart tracks transactions using OpChainblockSeqCommit (opcode 0xd4, KIP-21), which enables scripts to commit to sequential chain block data. This opcode is fundamental for building L2 protocols and rollups that need to anchor state to the L1 chain in a verifiable way.
Growth in this metric indicates development of higher-layer protocols that use Kaspa as a settlement and data availability layer, anchoring their state transitions to the base chain's block sequence.
How it's computed
Each accepted transaction is scanned for OpChainblockSeqCommit in output scripts and P2SH redeem scripts. A transaction is counted once regardless of how many times the opcode appears. Results are aggregated hourly for short ranges and daily for ranges exceeding 90 days.
